No Terrible But Not Worth The Money
There are plenty of options in the App Store to replace the built in music app. I have tested a few and have to say I am not impressed with this one.
There are two main complaints I have with this app.
The first and most important complaint I have is with the sound, it is very thin and weak...almost watered down. This is especially true of the bass. The built in equalizer helps a little but it doesnt completely solve the problem.
Secondly, the controls and options are very difficult to find. The app does its best to be intuitive but it should provide an option to display the standard set of controls. The current method of control shows the developers have put thought into it but the controls come off as quite clumsy.
As a side note, it would be nice if there was an iPad version of this app.
Overall, there are much better options in the App Store and I would look elsewhere. I really cant see one compelling reason to purchase this app.
UPDATE: The last update hasnt really Improved the overall sound quality. The sound is still not as good as other players and maybe this is due to the limited EQ options but the bass is still pretty weak. If bass is your thing I would look elsewhere.
