Co to ma być za język? Rosyjski, ukraiński? Bez możliwości zmiany? Totalne dno.

I’ve uploaded over 100 full MP3 albums to this app and only one track from each album shows up in the app. I watched them get uploaded to the cloud server on my desktop. Where did the rest of the tracks disappear to? Also the Windows and OSX download links are dead. Pure Junk.

The app won’t sync between my iPhone and MacBook Pro. All it does is tell me I don’t have a subscription when I do and have paid the annual fee. Customer support is useless and don’t respond to requests for assistance.

I was looking for a player to listen to voice recordings. Vox is great because i can add YouTube and website links! Iʻm trying to figure out how to skip forward 15 seconds like other players do. I canʻt figure it out. I have the free version. Maybe thas why?

I needed a simple music player with playlist capabilities and this seemed to fit the bill. It was particularly important that I could sync playlists across devices. The first time I used it, it worked perfectly. The second and subsequent playlists failed to sync and I have no idea why. The website support was no help - never had a response. And yes, I made the mistake of springing for the Premium version. Disappointing.

I guess that title tells everything.

The gapless playback of songs is a huge plus for this app. Downloading songs to my phone requires an external PC with iTunes, which is slightly unintuitive, but I can manage. Cheers.

It’s really good but sometimes it randomly skips my songs that I stream from sound cloud or it loads like 2 seconds of the songs. And sometimes it can’t even load a specific song so u have to mp3 it and when I try to share an entire album from my local files it sometimes only adds like 2 or 3 of the songs on there

Most songs play for about 30 seconds before the app just crashes entirely. Riddled with bugs that make it unusable. Often times you are unable to pause or scrub through songs. Switching songs too quickly immediately crashes the app. However I suppose it is my fault for believing that a small 3rd party app could seamlessly sync and stream my SoundCloud library.

But it keeps restarting on its own. A playlist you keep having to restart, isn’t worth playing 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ll have to listen to ads I guess 🙄

an absolute amazing music player from my experience, lets me play my flac files and lets me listen to soundcloud ad free. and to top it off it scrobbles too. couldn’t ask for more

Amazing that this is a Paid Service. The service is lacking features. Play back often plays two tracks at the same time, causing you to close and restart the app. Upload typically errors about 20% of the songs. Customer support is inexistent and have yet to receive any support for my issues. Big mistake

Yes it is free to download but to start using the features you need to pay 4.99 a month at the time of writing this.

Cannot play more than a very very small number of qobuz tracks without crashing or freezing. Unusable with Qobuz.

Researching Vox, the app was supposed to let you change the format for hi-res audio features. Specifically, increase the audio format if you are using an external DAC. After downloading, the feature wasn’t available unless I purchased a subscription. I processed the subscription, went to the settings to change. Basic iPhone for my music on the phone speakers is at 48kHz but when I connected it to my DAC, Vox saw my device and downgraded it to 44.1kHz and wouldn’t let me change it. My DAC can handle up to 384kHz. So, I’ve requested a refund.

I recently got this app and given the nice features i was disappointed to find out the app doesn’t have a most rudimentary feature like a delete option. So basically, if you’re away from your computer you cant delete a song in the app.

Once the best player, it has turned into a stinking dump. The basic functionality became paid at a high cost. Moreover, the app now includes numerous tracking modules that collect users' personal data, which is then sold to other companies. P.S.: Do not disgrace Ukraine. Remove any mentions that you are associated with Ukraine.

I thought the whole point of this app was to enable lossless high res playback. It recognizes when songs are 96kbps, but then when its output, it gets downsampled to 48kbps. Plug it into any dac — they will all show 48kbps. This isn’t an iPhone limitation btw, the app simply doesn’t allow greater bit rates. Also, it’s clear this is intentional. If you click the EQ icon, then select the “…” in the upper right, it shows the max output rate is 48k. The “match” function doesn’t work. However, the desktop app works wonderfully. If you have an extremely high bit rate audio file, though, your experience will depend on your internet bandwidth unless it’s downloaded locally.

Seems like the ideal app for my personal use case, but can’t seem to find a shuffle play option. Ideally, I’d like to be able to press a button in CarPlay to shuffle play a selected playlist/collection. Hope to see this app continue to grow, expand , and improve!

Are you planning on adding a widget for ios18 now that Apple has removed legacy widgets?

I love the idea, and it works a little, but so many glitches hiding playlists or collections… they can’t decide what to call them in different places. Mixed playlist vs synced that don’t sync, can’t add from one source, can’t access from another. It would take me the hour I’ve spent trying to get this to work to explain all the loose ends. Hopefully the developers will focus for a couple of weeks and clean up all the dead ends and errors. I’d be happy to list a few pages worth. Thought maybe paying (which I think I did three times in different ways). Ugh

Can’t add MP3s that are stored on my iPad’s local drive. I don’t want to create an account and sign up for your cloud thing, I just want to make a playlist from files already stored on my device, then play them. This is the absolute most basic function of a media player. If it can’t do this, it is useless to me.

App won’t play or keeps skipping songs unless I am on WiFi even though download over cellular is selected. Very disappointed!

hi there, i just install it on fresh iphone and use itunes for transfer my albums. after complete session in first run app just crash then i run it again just loaded with un completed album! some albums just have a 1 song!! i was do it again re-install app and this happend again idk why it crash after first run? hope you fix it soon. ios 16.7.7

When i copy files to my iphone it doesnt always get all the files and i used all the formats and such etc etc it just a horrible experience putting an album together even if its something simple like an mp3 (dont get me started on OSTs)😭

Just wrote a 3 star review 30 seconds ago and now it’s gone. Came back to change to 2, but now it’s 1. The 3 was because the app says it has an EQUALIZER. It does not. Then 2 stars. It says it has CLOUD STORAGE. It does not. Now at 1 because somehow the first review was deleted. Thinking I’ll just delete the app and continue using VLC. Never had a problem with them.

When in the locked screen it plays just 2 songs (the one playing and 1 after) and the it goes crazy jumping 4 songs and stopping. It started a few versions ago, then only on new additions to the library, but now even for the ones that used to play ok. Contacted support through their site (found out the issue is common for other users) but no fix as of yet.

March 2024, YouTube playback error is back. Hoping this will be fixed in the next update. Also, when it was working, the app would stop playing suddenly, and the only way to get it to resume was to swipe the app closed, and reopen it. It would then continue playing from the point where it stopped. This happened on my old iPhone SE as well as my current iPhone 12 Mini, on different IOS. The YouTube playback issue is back, hoping there will be a fix for this again soon!

Love this app and what’s included in the premium subscription. Works flawlessly with great quality. Missing some features, like editing the album artist & title name and view option seams to have a bug when sorting on the album name.

The apps too busy and too complicated to use intuitively especially while driving. Just getting to a playlist is a huge headache. Play this won’t shuffle the repeat properly through CarPlay. Audio drops out using CarPlay. The app is trying do too many things and does them all half vast. If you need a lot of complexity, and don’t mind software bugs, maybe this is for you. If you just want something simple that works, use another app.

Can you add an option to make the album art larger in portrait mode? I’m using an iPad and there is so much screen space that could be used by the album art while music is playing. I hope you consider this request if it’s not too much to ask.

I was looking for something other than iTunes or Apple Music to play my iTunes library on my iPhone because of apple’s syncing issues and this works great. I really like everything about it. It’s simple, looks good, and just works and I don’t have to worry about my custom song files being replaced with standardized songs by apple. Side note: VOX has an equalizer that looks good and it is something that I personally could really use, but they want to put you in a subscription to get it. I understand that devs gotta eat, but I can’t stand the way every business these days tries to push me into a subscription. In fact, I absolutely hate it to the point of actual anger sometimes. I’ve dumped companies because of their subscription hardball, and will continue to do so. Anyway, I would totally pay a one time $20-30 for the EQ. I’m still giving the app 5 stars because it does everything that I want it to do.

Wonderful app

The secret swipes and magnification “play-button” are nifty but ultimately just annoying to me. Especially since it takes 500ms for the “play-button” to actually start playing music. This is the only viable mp3 player left in the App Store. It would be amazing if you provided an option to use a normal, frustration free, user interface.

A zombie app. Paid for an annual subscription, couldn’t access premium features, reached out to “Support.” A week later, haven’t heard back. One of those apps that keeps charging big $$$ when nobody’s around to service subscribers. Don’t get taken!

The app is great but when connecting to SoundCloud, it won’t show all of the songs on my playlist. I have 76 songs on my playlist but Vox is only showing 5 and there is no way to fix the issue.

This app would be great if it didn’t continuously crash every time I try to play a song. I can get halfway through, then it closes. Just buggy all around — a lot of potential here that’s just squandered. Very unfortunate

The app bugs out a lot where the audio/video just completely stops playing and I have to restart the app in order to continue listening. I like to listen to calm music playlists while I sleep, but sometimes the audio will just stop halfway through a particular song or halfway through the playlist and will not continue. I end up having to restart the app to get it to work again.

Servers are unstable, songs can get lost, problems logging in. App hadn't been really updated for over 5 years. Overall, not worth the money

I want a music player that indexes an SMB source into a nicely organized music library with artist/album art that lets me quickly browse and cast to my Sonos system directly or via AirPlay. Or, organize the Sonos library like I want it. I don’t like the Sonos app, which takes multiple taps to get to my album list, and only sorts by album title — nobody has ever sorted their music collection this way — rather than artist/year or artist/title; it doesn’t cache album art, as though changing album art is something you do so frequently that it requires refreshing on every visit. After trying about a dozen apps, this doesn’t appear to be a thing that exists. But that’s not the reason for the 1-star rating. Despite the description, there’s no Sonos support, or at least nothing in the settings that indicates you can connect to Sonos. If it had any degree of Sonos support, I’d have just skipped rating it.

Pro does not unlock in app iOS app, desktop. Customer Support has not gotten back to me in about a week. If you are thinking about updating to pro - don’t. It doesn’t work. I really want it to! I want to leave Spotify and start building my own library.
